The switch allows the fans to be set to one of three modes:
- MAN To run the fans continuously, set the switch to MAN and adjust the speed via the speed adjustment potentiometer.
- AUTO To allow the fans to operate under the control of the master controller, set the switch to AUTO
- OFF To turn the fans off on a permanent basis, set the switch to the OFF position
Only the VSM-2 (2 outputs) informs you of its status using the LEDs when controlled by a master controller.
The VSM-2/2 (1 doubled output) offers you an automated control of its two stages via the use of the master controller, or via a manual switch and a control dial located on the front panel of the VSM-2/2.
