Always have a certified electrician perform the electrical connections.
Install low voltage wires at least 12 inches (30 cm) from high voltage wires (120/230 vac, 24 vdc).
Always cross high and low voltage wires at a 90-degree angle.
Note : The water meter’s maximum frequency at a 50% duty cycle is 4 Hz, necessitating a minimum pulse width of 125ms for the control to accurately read the signal.
If a faster pulse is required, you can add an X1399/INTER-4 optional board between the Genius input and the water meter. This will enable the Genius to read signals as short as 4ms.
